Terms of Service
Last updated: March 31, 2026
Agreement
By accessing or using Tarseekh ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may offer the Service in multiple languages. In case of conflict between translations, the meaning intended for users in your region and any official English reference text we provide will govern where required by law.
About the Service
Tarseekh is a digital experience focused on Quran memorization and practice. Features may include memorization sessions, challenge mode, review mode, daily rewards, experience points (XP), coins, streaks, leaderboards, achievements, and profile features. We may add, change, or remove features to improve the Service, maintain security, or comply with law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Accounts
You may use the Service with a guest session or by creating or linking an account (for example with email and password or third-party sign-in where we enable it). You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials. Where we ask for profile information (such as a display name or country for leaderboard display), you agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate others or misrepresent your identity. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your session or account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: • Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm others • Cheat, exploit bugs, automate unfair play, or manipulate leaderboards or rewards • Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload our systems except as allowed by law • Introduce malware or attempt unauthorized access to our systems or data • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws We may investigate misuse and suspend or terminate access when we reasonably believe these rules are broken.
Virtual rewards
XP, coins, streaks, badges, ranks, and similar items are virtual in-game elements only. They have no real-world monetary value, are not transferable to other users or platforms, and are not redeemable for cash unless we explicitly state otherwise in writing. We may adjust rules, balances, or rewards to preserve fairness, fix errors, or maintain the integrity of the Service.
Intellectual property
The Tarseekh name, logo, user interface, software, and original non-scriptural content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Quranic text and related religious content shown in the app are presented for worship, study, and memorization. We do not claim ownership of the Quran itself. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service and its content only as intended.
Educational and religious disclaimer
The Service is an educational and practice tool. It is not a substitute for qualified teaching, supervision, or personal religious guidance from trusted scholars or institutions. Nothing in the app constitutes a religious ruling (fatwa). You use memorization and review features at your own discretion and judgment.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if we must do so to comply with law, or if we wind down or discontinue all or part of the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations, and intellectual property) will survive.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice (for example in the app or by email where we have your address). Continued use of the Service after the effective date of updated Terms means you accept the revised Terms.
Disclaimer of warranties
Except where prohibited by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we and our affiliates, directors, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) zero if the Service is free. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum permitted by law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by applicable law to the extent required in your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would require applying another jurisdiction's laws, except where such choice is prohibited. Courts or tribunals in locations where we are established or where required by mandatory consumer protection rules may have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, where applicable.
